Mariana handles market intelligence projects focused on medical devices and procedure trends, hospital data and competitive analysis, among others, across emerging markets. She also has an extensive travel experience throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, which has endowed her with a profound understanding of the region’s social, political and economic realities. Mariana has also leveraged her experience in LatAm healthcare market intelligence—which includes helping 20+ Fortune 500 companies increase their sales in the region—into becoming a thought leader, authoring several articles and whitepapers.
Prior to joining AMI, Mariana was a Communications Specialist for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). She has a B.A. in social and political science from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) and obtained her MSc in Communications from the University of Havana in collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid.
Mariana is fluent in English, French, Haitian Creole, Spanish and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
